Giana Lorenzini, PhD Student at Packaging Logistics, Design Sciences, is the Lund University-winner in the Universitas 21’s “Three Minutes Thesis competition” for research students. In three minutes she has communicated the significance of her research about design and innovation strategies for pharmaceutical packaging with a user-oriented perspective to non-specialists, and won the jury’s prize.

− It was a challenge to present my research in three minutes, but I practiced a lot and tried to ignore that I was nervous, says Giana Lorenzini. Her presentation will now compete against contributions from 20 other universities within the Universitas 21’s network.

Between 10-24 October 2016 the winning contribution from each participating university will be presented on http://www.u213mt.com. During this period, the vote for people's choice is open.

Universitas 21 is a leading global network of research universities with 25 members from most parts of the world. Lund University is the only North European partner. The jury at Lund University was Kristina Lindgärde, Assistant Head of Communications, Christina Isaxon, Senior Assistant Professor at Ergonomics and Aerosol Technology, David Örbring, PhD Student and President of Lund Doctoral Student Union 2015-2016.
