On 20 October, course responsible Katrin Molina-Besch at Packaging Logistics, Lund University, welcomed students in the Packaging Technology and Development course to their final joint seminar. At the event, held physically in a Corona-safe way at the Ingvar Kamprad Design Centre, students presented a variety of sustainable food packaging prototypes. As during previous years, the students carried out the industry-initiated projects in peer groups, with a mix of international and Swedish students.

Every year since 2012, the course has had students from the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree FIPDes, Food Innovation and Product Design. Read more about the present cohort and their packaging development projects at the FIPDes website, with for example a sustainable packaging for hemp crispbread, an expo pallet solution for ketchup, and an easy-recyclable packaging solution for tortillas.
